Facts About Bronopol Butylated Hydroxyanisole or Bronopol Found in Makeup

Lots of women love all of the benefits of makeup. Makeup gives most of us the skin as well as the look we wish we were born with. But do you honestly have any or an exact idea of what is truly being carried in your makeup bag or what is truly being absorbed into your pores for that matter. Well I am here to enlighten those who wear makeup on a daily basis or only on special occasions, with some must know facts and basics.

Those who wear makeup on a daily basis can absorb almost five pounds of chemicals into their bodies each year. It has been proven that when chemicals are absorbed in the skin they are also absorbed directly into your blood streams. This has shown that putting chemicals on your skin is far worse than ingesting them. This is because the enzymes in your stomache as well as in your saliva breaks down and flushes the chemicals out of your body before it can be absorbed into your blood cells. These five pounds of chemical intake from makeup each year has been stated to flow directly to several delicate and fragile organs. Other health effects may include brain and learning disorders, vomiting, skin rash, cramps, joint and bone pain, stillbirths, mouth sores, genetic damage, cancer, and immune dysfunctions. Some of these chemicals are so severe that they may cause violent impulsive behavior.
Chemical Warning: Makeup is made up of several Toxic Metalswhich include the following: Fragrance, Color Additives, Trienthanolamine (TEA), Talc, Sodium Laureth Sulfate (shortened fromSodium Lauryl Sulfate Ether or SLES), Quaternium-15, Propylene Glycol Petrolatum, p-Hydroxybenzoic Acid Benzyl Esther, Nitrosamines, l-Naphthol and 2- Naphthol, Mineral oil, Lanolin, Hexamenthylenetetramine, Formaldehyde, Bronopol, and Mercury. These toxic metals can be found in theatrical and clown makeup, lipstick, face powder, rouge, eye shadow, mascara, sunscreen, sunblock, lotion, and moisturizer.
Organic Makeup: Why should you choose organic makeup? Not only is organic makeup better for us and our bodies, but organic makeup is also better for the environment. Since organic products lack harmful chemicals using them is easier on the environment because they contain ingredients that are biodegradable. Since there are so many people who are starting to take notice in organic products and makeup there are plenty of savvy advertisers who falsely give the term "organic" to there products even though they know that their products are not organic. So when shopping for organic makeup make sure to always read the list of ingredients. They should be certifiably organic. True organic products should not contain preservatives, harmful emollients, or colorants. However they should contain ingredients similar to the following, organic jojoba oil, organic unrefined beeswax, organic vanilla extract, and several other organic products.
